  23. I'm not interested in internal distributions, but only distributions that your 
  24. university passes around widely.  If you don't care who sees your university's 
  25. news, then send in your information.  If however your news is private, then 
  26. don't send your information, and if you see your distribution here, then ask 
  27. to have it removed.  If YOU consider it a local or limited distribution, it 
  28. shouldn't be here.

  30. PLEASE BE SOME SORT OF OFFICIAL PERSON (sysadmin or school executive) when 
  31. asking to add or remove distributions here.  If you don't go to that school, 
  32. don't bother sending their information.  It will be discarded with no 
  33. acknowledgement.  Thank you for your understanding.  I'm trying to be accurate.

  35. attempt to make it more clear.

  57. The "distribution tag" should be lower case.  The others should be upper case 
  58. iff they have been defined elsewhere as a distribution.  If it *has* been 
  59. defined, then please use the actual distribution tag.

  64. in lower case, (DO NOT USE YOUR POSTAL CODE) and mark it with an asterisk (*).

  68. The first word after the colon (:) should describe the word before the colon 
  69. completely.  The first character after the colon is a space, one space only.

  71. If there is a plus sign (+) then the site labeled with it will NOT
  72. feed that distribution to other sites passing "all" in their sys file.  
  73. It is recommended that all sys admins do this to help fix problems with 
  74. distributions.
